Using Microsoft Remote Desktop

Note: Will only work while on SESYNC Network or VPN Connection

Windows

There are two options for Microsoft Windows

Option 1. Remote Desktop

The newer Microsoft Remote Desktop client typically is already present on Windows 10 but can be downloaded at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/microsoft-remote-desktop/9wzdncrfj3ps?activetab=pivot%3Aoverviewtab

Option 2. Remote Desktop Connection

Click the Start/Windows button, open the Windows Accessories Folder, and locate Remote Desktop Connection

Open the Application and Enter the Full Name of the Remote Computer

  • User Account: Add your usual SESYNC username and password with one exception:
  • Precede your username with sesync e.g.sesync\tking
  • Feel free to save the profile for easy access in the future

Mac OSX

For OSX you will need to download the client from iTunes at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/microsoft-remote-desktop-10/id1295203466?mt=12 or the directly from the App Store by searching Microsoft Remote Desktop 10

  • Select the + sign and Add Desktop
