How someone can send you a large file

Anyone can send large files to SESYNC employees using the service at https://files.sesync.org. Here’s how to create your temporary public directory:

  • Log in to the URL above
  • Select the My Files Workspace

  • Create a new folder for uploading data / documents

  • Right-click the folder and select Share

  • Share options:
    • Share as a workspace
    • Enter label & Description
    • Create new user

***** enter user ID and password. You can send the password via E-mail to your external collaborator

Now your collaborators can upload data!

NOTE: Please remember to move the data to a more appropriate Share. This workflow is only meant to obtain the data, not permanent storage.
